Client: Rutland Surgery

Client Brief & Solution:

Asked to work with an existing design team to create the interior for this new surgery, built on the old garden festival site in the south bank of the river Clyde.

We designed and fitted out the surgery using felled trees, removed from the site foundations, adding a calming and tactile nature to the interior. We designed an exterior sculpture that carried the message of the medical profession, the railways and aluminium yards both of which used to occupy the site. As with all public interiors the furniture is put to test through constant wear.

With the solid wood and leather used we have ensured that the interior will only get more comfortable as time goes by.
