After winning the Balvenie Artisan Award in 2004, Paul was asked to design, manufacture and fit the interior of the 100 year-old former whisky manager’s office to make the space suitable for a Connoisseurs tour of the distillery.
Soon after completing the Balvenie visitor centre in Dufftown, Paul was asked to design, manufacture and install the interior for the Glenfiddich brand. He was asked fit out the Balvenie tasting room and Glenfiddich malt barn bar, reflecting the brand values of the industry.
The client remains comfortable and confident in allowing us to have reasonable design freedom. The client found use of Scottish timbers, natural reminders, contrasts in metal, wood, glass and stone synonymous with their own brand values.
