Client Brief & Solution:
City of Glasgow College approached Paul for design ideas for the external furniture for their new building in Cathedral street Glasgow.
Paul’s design involved the use of Certified managed forest Teak and Cor-Ten steel, both materials requiring zero maintenance.
The design concentrates on the practical as well as the function. Paul’s design created a top with no areas for food trap, ingenious construction design that was also the main factor resulting in the visual design.
Paul himself attended and has put over 20 apprentices over the years to a college now part of the new city of Glasgow college, the current apprentices now attend the new Campus.
